Itinerary for the Luxor Day Trip Private Day Trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven in a modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned vehicle via Safaga along the newly developed desert road. After approximately 225 km, you will reach the Nile Valley in Qena. Along the way, you will stop at a rest area to take a break, stretch your legs, or use the restroom.
After a short break, you will continue along the densely populated country road to Luxor (approximately 60 km). During the journey, you will see many small and large villages and gain insights into typical Egyptian daily life.
Once you arrive in Luxor, your adventure begins. After a short break for refreshments, you will visit the largest temple complex in the world with its impressive Hall of Columns. Afterwards, the bus will take you to West Thebes, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch.
After lunch, you will explore the world-famous Valley of the Kings and visit the impressive Royal Tombs.
